Mariaje is an amazing teacher! She always brings a positive aura and certainly knows how to make learning fun, and I always walked out of her classes knowing that I was a better Spanish speaker and knew more about the culture.

I was really lucky to have Mariaje as my Spanish teacher in a beginner’s class at the LAE school in Madrid. Mariaje is also at ease with sign language for the deaf or hard of hearing and she put her talent for mime to good use with us beginners.

Mariaje is an excellent Spanish teacher. Although I only worked with her for a short period of time, I love how patient she is, knowledgable about grammar and how she customizes her classes to fit her student’s individual needs.
